Radio Mirchi - Mirchi Sound Check - olavo rodrigues -O'luv, Varun Carvalo, mukesh ghatwal

Radio Mirchi 98.3FM event "Mirchi Sound Check" in association with the "American Center, Mumbai" started at Hotel Fidalgos Panjim on 24th March, 2011. The three day event starting from 24th March, 2011 to 26th March, 2011 is aimed at showcasing of music talent of Goans and bringing out the local talent.

The Mirchi Sound Check event on 24th witnessed some of Goa’s best musicians in performance: Ehsaas, POW's Sceptre, Olavo Rodrigues (O'Luv), Varun Carvalho, Mukesh Ghatwal among others

The show started with Ehsaas, Madhumita with her melodious voice sang her composition and some of the Bollywood melodious songs. In the competition category POW's Sceptre made a impact on the audience with their music so did the others in the competition category.

The Olavo Rodrigues (O'Luv) mesmerized the audience with his songs in Konkani, English, Hindi & Portuguese and had all the audience dancing to his songs. Olavo sang his own composition for the Tsunami Victims and also for the victims of terrorism. He conveyed a strong message "Say No To Drugs" with his song Oh Va Vhee. Varun Carvalo and the two timers sang his original composition which included the hit single which will be a part of the Hollywood movie and gave a strong message to support original music. Mukesh Ghatwal accompanied Varun for one of his songs. Varun was also accompanied by O'luv who this time played a special instrument "the comb".

The Mirch Sound Check event is going to be having the cream of the Goan music fraternity under one roof at Hotel Fidalgo in this three day event and also will give a platform for the local musicians and bands to showcase their talent.
