When a total stranger becomes a part of your life - After death, memories are all I have
The smile says it all
There are times in our life when we meet people who are not of any blood relations to you, yet just the smile on their face affirms to you that they are very warm and loving and though you don't meet these person every now and then, yet whenever you meet them they treat you with love and care which comes straight from their hearts.
One among such people in my life was Mrs.Rodrigues whom I used to affectionately call Mai (Mother). I have always know her as a person who was very loving towards her family, friends and neighbours. A ever-loving Mother, a friendly Mother-in-law and above all the best grandmother to her grandchildren.
I was just a family friend but whenever I visited her she would treat me as her own, always made me feel comfortable at home, even at times when I was not.
Once I had to stay over at their place and I had not carried spare shirt along with me. She went and brought for me a t-shirt of her son. I still remember the glee and radiance on her face the moment she saw me wearing the t-shirt of her Son, and what she said to me was was priceless.
As told by the family members she always looked forward to me visiting their home, but somehow times and circumstances never permitted me, though I just loved the warmnt and love I received from her on my every visit to the family.
She passed away suddenly of a hearth attack. It was sad, it was painful, but I know she is up there in Gods abode, she was my well wisher, a true one.
God Bless you Mai, I know you are up there in Heaven, May your soul rest in peace.Do keep me in your prayers.
If Roses Grow in Heaven
If roses grow in Heaven Lord
Please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mai's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday,
But there is an ache within my heart
That will never go away.
Please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mai's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday,
But there is an ache within my heart
That will never go away.

A visit to the Blessed Fr. Agnelo at Pilar
Blessed Fr. Agnelo at Pilar Goa
It was a unplanned visit, but every time I pass by Pilar I make it a point to visit the tomb of Fr. Agnelo at Pilar.
My day started with a early morning at the Church in Candolim for the 3rd Anniversary mass of my friends relations. After the church service was over, I joined the family for snacks at their home. I excused myself as I had to get to the railway station to met my friend who was coming from Bombay. On my way I met a nun who was proceeding to Mapusa and was waiting for the Bus. I volunteered to drive her to Panjim if she liked. she was very happy with the offer and as we drove towards Panjim she shared of her service to the congregation and taking care of young girls in the hostel and the challenges involved in handling young girls in changing times. As she gave me her blessings on arrival to panjim. I started my journey to Karmali. Having arrived at the Karmaili station, I was happy to know that the train was not much delayed and he would arrive. to pass off the time, I clicked a few photos of the blossomed May Tree.
On his arrival I learnt of the change in plans and instead of Panjim, he requested me to drop him to Pilar. Having shared a chit chat we soon arrived to his destination. There was a lady waiting to Go to Panjim. She asked if i could drop her to Panjim. So I had a Mom and her two kids accompanying me to Panjim, As this point in time i decided that I should visit the Tomb of Fr. Angelo. A quick halt at the Pilar monastry, I excused myself and went to offer prayers and seek strength and blessing from Blessed Fr. Agnelo, who is very dear to me.

A Pleasant Evening by the Sea at Campal Goa
Pleasant Evening by the Sea
After a hectic day at work, its always peaceful to be by the Sea.
Even though the monsoons have started in Goa, it was great to see the silver lining clouds and the bright sunshine in the sky, just before sunset.

Tuesday evening rains at Goa.
Rainy Tuesday Evening
This is one of t he many old houses, that still remain, constructed during the Portuguese rule in Goa. This building houses commercial establishments and residential house. To the left hand corner is the house where you can hear pleasant konkani and English music played. Its situated next to cafe central in Panjim and opposite Cafe Aaram (Remanso)The Yellow and black painted rickshaw are a important mode of travel in the City of Panjim, as the city gets very busy during the Peak office hours.
